Mix Sabzi is a traditional, healthy Pakistani vegetable mixture where the best of the season products are combined with flavors of a slowly cooked dish in the traditional combination of spices. Our vegetables are chosen freshly-potatoes, carrots, peas, capsicum, beans among others prepared to perfection after being washed and cut. The vegetables are then cooked with pure cooking oil with the onions, tomatoes and mixture of hand-picked spices like the turmeric, cumin, coriander powder and a pinch of red chili to give it warm flavor. It is flavored with fresh ginger and garlic, and green chilies bring it the range of flavorings, and finally, I finish it with garam masala to give it the depth and a smell.
The outcome is an aromatic fiery dish with color and spice, which perfectly compliments roti or naan or even basic rice. Chockful of dietary fiber, vitamins and vegetable protein, Mix Sabzi is an ideal daily meal that is light and satisfying.
